Universal Truths

There are many so called "universal truths" but this one I believe is a tried and true "truth".  I believe it transcends all sexes, races, religions, and creeds. What is this "universal truth"?  All diets begin on Monday!  So, who am I to change the ways of the world?  I mean, its the LAW!  So it goes, I began my "new" diet on Monday. (not really "new" diet just a different/another "day")

Fast forward to Wednesday,..today!  I'm going to post my "food" and my "exercise" so if there any nutritionists out there, please critique the daily food intake as well as daily exercise.  Suggestions?  Tips?

Monday-exercise spin class , 1hour- 511 calories-139 lb morning weigh in.

Breakfast-fresh fruit-blue berries, black berries and strawberries.
small amount of whip creme (have to make it interesting!)

Lunch-3 pieces pepperoni pizza-(Pappa Johns I believe?)-this I know is a BAD choice!!

Dinner-95% lean grilled hamburger
tomatoes

Tuesday-exercise spin class-45 minutes, 25 minutes walk/run-total calories 618-140.5 lb minor amount of clothing
Breakfast-Panera "power sandwich-without egg and slice of bread

Lunch-Panera salad with grilled chicken
1 medium apple

snack-1 apple
cheese, crackers

Dinner-grilled vegetables

Wednesday-no exercise-137 lb no clothing

Breakfast-blue berries, black berries, strawberries
whipped creme

Lunch-turkey burger with 1 half bun
small side salad with very little dressing

Dinner- 5 slices American cheese with 8 crackers-(home late and had meeting!)
1 glass of Chardonnay.

By merely "posting" my food, (and I'm almost positive I've left out things), I know I should start "jounaling" my food.  It is one of the most recommended tips to do when starting a new exercise/diet plan.  It really does help to know EXACTLY what you're eating.  Also my analysing "when" and the "what"  AND preparing in advance will be key for me to be successful. "When"  will also be difficult since on most nights dinner is served between 8:30 or 9:00! Preparing for healthy snacks and having them on hand will be very helpful for me!

**Next time-my favorite exercise item...a heart monitor!!!  Also another "new "exercise craze!
